My name is Oliver Goulet and I am the CMO and a founder at New Tropics. I started my career in the cannabis industry at 19 years old growing and cultivating in basement in a tent. I dropped out of Hope College to peruse my passion for cannabis and started doing more research on how bad the pharmaceutical industry is for society. I have personally seen how big of a difference mushrooms and cannabis can used as an alternative form of medication. I am also a Nutrition/Mindset and lifestyle Coach. When I first started my cannabis entrepreneurial journey I weighed 270 pounds and was addicted to harder drugs. Over the last 5 years I have been able to kick the hard drugs and lose over 90 pounds. Cannabis was a huge help with getting off of drugs and alcohol. I now teach people how to improve their overall quality of life and get over addiction by substituting their bad habits for good ones that serve them. I don’t just preach to my clients how to become the best version of themselves through fitness, nutrition and mindset. It’s something I live up to everyday. I have set a very high standard for myself, which includes the information, food, and cannabis I consume on a daily basis. My standard is passed shared by all of the companies I own and work with, which in return allows me to put out the best quality products for our customers.
Hobbies include: Traveling, Working out, Hiking and being in Nature, Music festivals, Dirt biking, and seeking Adrenaline.
Zachary Rhoda

Howdy, my name is Zachary Rhoda, co-Founder of New Tropics.
My journey began when I was 33 years old as I attended Charis Bible College in Woodland Park, Colorado, seeking spiritual guidance. During this time, I was introduced to Hydrogen Generator Technology, a water therapy treatment.
Instantly, my senses kicked in and I realized that the majority of our bodies are made of water and if you could simply change the water you drink, it could change your whole life!
Coming back to Holland Michigan, I still had a deep enthusiasm for the health and wellness of the human body, so I started my own Hydrogen Water Therapy store.
As society evolved and became more open to Cannabis and aware of it’s major health benefits, I joined up with other individuals to start up a few Health and Wellness stores in Holland Michigan. Being a part of the Cannabis industry has opened my eyes to the many healing properties that plants can have on our bodies. Listening to thousand of testimonies, I knew deep in my heart that cannabis was changing the lives of those that used it respectfully.
After several years in the industry, I came across two gentlemen that also had the same intentions and dedication to healing others as I did. Our beliefs aligned with each other and we were also intrigued with the mushroom industry. We quickly knew that something was special about this funky fungus and it’s unique abilities to potentially heal the mind, body and soul.
We all agree that we have a duty and obligation to help humanity in any way possible, even if it’s as simple as loving and having compassion for our fellow human beings.
