FAQ
What’s in New Tropics?
We have spent the last few years testing and extracting dozens of mushroom species! After all this time and effort we have found and combined a mix of mushroom extracts to create a wonderful Nootropic blend. The blend of extracts has been seen to have varying effects from mood elevation and increase in energy to a more relaxed state of focus. One of the more notable contributors to the blend is the Chaga mushroom!
What if I'm on prescription medications such as SSRI's?
Serotonin-regulating medications such as SSRIs, antidepressants, or similar drugs can potentially inhibit or significantly reduce the effectiveness of these gummies. It's important to note that we are not medical professionals, so the information we provide is solely based on customer reports. The general issue arises from the fact that Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRIs) are designed to regulate the release of serotonin in the body. When an external form of serotonin is introduced, these medications are intended to balance it, preventing shifts between manic (increased) and depressive (decreased) phases. This applies to all similar medications designed to stabilize mood, including MAOIs, SNRIs, and TCAs.
What’s NOT in New Tropics?
We do NOT use any cannabinoids or any compounds related to Amanita Muscaria to produce our products. We do this with the knowledge that a few states in the US have already banned the sales of these products due to the toxic effects they can have on humans. Our products contain No Psilocybin or Psilocin or any related compounds found in those species of mushrooms. There’s no need for us to use those compounds when this discovery has allowed us a legal alternative. But don’t take our word for it, check out all our third-party lab results!
When should I NOT take New Tropics?
NEVER TAKE New Tropics IF you plan on operating any type of vehicle or heavy equipment in the next 12 hours. Or If you are UNDER THE AGE OF 18!
It is always advised to seek the counsel of a healthcare professional prior to incorporating any form of dietary supplement into one’s regime. New Tropics is not recommended for individuals with pre-existing medical conditions, those currently under pharmacological treatment, or individuals who are pregnant, nursing, or potentially expecting. The co-ingestion of New Tropics with alcohol or any substance known to induce an altered state of consciousness is strongly discouraged.
How long before I feel something? / How long will it last?
So just like many other things we are used to digesting for results, it will greatly depend on your body’s metabolism and on what and when you last ate. As a rule, eating a heavy meal before New Tropics will greatly lessen the effects and slow the process of feeling it -(40min-90min). This is due to the fact your body is digesting the edible along with the food you ate. On the other hand, having absolutely nothing in your stomach can cause a short period of upset stomach after eating New Tropics, however this way the effects will be most intense and kick in the fastest (15min -45min ). Our best suggestion would be to have a light snack before New Tropic so that your stomach isn’t bothered and it does slow down or weaken the effects! (30min – 60min ). No matter how long it takes to kick in lower doses will last anywhere from (1hr -3hrs) Medium Doses will last around (2hrs-5hrs) and Large doses will last around (3.5hrs – 7hrs)
Does this feel like magic mushrooms?
Yes. Our products contain tryptamines similar to those found in magic mushrooms, with some users reporting the effects preferable to the real thing!
Will this product show up on a drug test?
Mushrooms generally won't show up on a 5-panel test. The same applies to 8-, 10-, and 12-panel tests commonly used for standard drug screenings. However, it's important to note that specialized tests specifically designed to detect mushrooms do exist. These specialized tests are more costly to perform and are not typically included in routine drug screenings. They are typically reserved for situations where there is a strong suspicion that someone has recently consumed mushrooms or when there are specific reasons to test for these substances. Therefore, for most individuals undergoing standard drug tests, the presence of mushrooms in their system is not a major concern.
